Lifeblood Syringe

Lifeblood Syringe is an active item added in The Burned Out Update.

Effects

  • Has only 4 charges in its charge bar when first obtained.
  • When an enemy dies, they have a 75% chance to spawn a Lifeseed Spirit.png Lifeseed Spirit.
    • Lifeseed Spirits will flee from the player, and will fly out of the room and disappear after 8 seconds.
  • This item charges when Isaac kills a Lifeseed Spirit rather than by clearing rooms or picking up batteries. Each Lifeseed Spirit killed grants 1 point of charge.
  • On use, grants 2 Soul Hearts.

Notes

  • The chance for an enemy to spawn a Lifeseed Spirit on death scales with the total number of copies of Lifeblood Syringe each player is carrying.

  • Lifeblood Syringe is a reference to an item from Hollow Knight: Silksong, the upcoming sequel to Hollow Knight.
