Cactus

Cactus is a Passive Item added in the initial release of Retribution.

Effect

  • Spawns a stationary familiar in a random position each room that deals contact damage to enemies.
  • Blocks Isaac's tears and enemy projectiles; after blocking 5 shots in total it bursts into a small shower of tears and a ring of tacs.
    • After bursting, regenerates after a few seconds.
