Grab Bag is a Cursed Trinket added in the Burned Out update.

Effect

• Spawns a familiar called Nyalon that will attempt to steal various types of pickups in the room. Nyalon can target:
  • Coins.
  • Keys.
  • Bombs.
  • Hearts.
  • Batteries.
  • Chests.
  • Sacks.
  • Cards.
  • Pills.
  • Runes.
  • Capsules.

Notes

• Obtaining multiple copies of Grab Bag will not grant additional copies of the Nyalon familiar.
• Grab Bag will always be the first trinket sold to the Curse Trader to ensure it does not steal Cursed Trinket profits.
• Nyalon cannot steal pickups if they must be purchased.

• Trinket Multipliers: Increases the speed at which Nyalon will chase down pickups.

Trivia

• Nyalon is a portmanteau of "Nya" and "Nylon".
  • Nya is the commonplace onomatopoeia in Japan for a cat's meow.
  • Nylon is a synthetic fabric used in several different industries.
• Nyalon's appearance and behaviour is a reference to the Snagger enemy from the Fiend Folio MOD.
  • Nyalon has a noticeably more cat-like appearance than Snagger; this may have been inspired by the concept of a Cat Burglar, and ties back into the origins of its name.
