Book of Mormon is an active item added in the initial release of Retribution.

Effects

  • On use, causes Isaac to hold the item above his head, creating an aura around him that continuously inflicts enemies inside the aura with fear.
    • The aura will remain active for as long as Isaac is holding the item above his head. Using the item again will put the book down, causing the effect to end.
    • The duration that enemies remain inflicted with fear scales with the amount of time they spend in the aura, with the minimum duration being 3 seconds.
