Heart Rupture is a Passive Item added in the Repentance Update of Retribution.

Effect

  • Enemies have a chance to launch a heart pickup into the air upon dying.
    • The chance scales with Luck, the enemy's maximum health and the current stage.
    • Catching the heart will heal Isaac.
    • Missing the heart will cause it to splatter on the ground and spawn playe-controlled creep.
