Heart of Ichor is a Cursed Trinket added in the Burned Out update.
Effects
- Taking damage adds a Broken Heart to the health bar.
- Broken Hearts are permanent, and are not removed when the trinket is sold at a Curse Trader.

- Trinket Multipliers: Increases the number of Broken Hearts granted when taking damage.

- Heart of Ichor is a reference to China, a character from the Fiend Folio MOD, and its design elements share similarities to the items Heart of China and Heartache.
- Heart of China's original effect and likeness was meant to be included in Retribution, having been designed long before the mod's initial release for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
- When it was decided that Tainted Mammon would be cut from the initial release of Retribution for Repentance, Heart of China was instead added to Fiend Folio: Reheated with an entirely new effect.
- Heart of China's original effect for Retribution was subsequently repurposed in the Burned Out update into Heart of Ichor.
- Heart of China was included in Fiend Folio to settle an issue regarding the strength of the cut Shard of China trinket from Fiend Folio's initial Afterbirth+ release.
