Blazing Beak is an active item added in The Burned Out Update.

Effects

• Passively causes enemies to sometimes drop Cursed Trinkets on death.
  • Cursed Trinkets are automatically smelted on pickup.
  • The chance for Cursed Trinkets to generate is roughly 50% of that of Tainted Mammon.
• On use, deals 1 damage to Isaac and destroys every Cursed Trinket he owns, spawning a number of coins based on their Sell Value.
  • If a Cursed Trinket has an on-sale effect (such as Cursed Capsule), this will still trigger as though the trinket was sold to a Curse Trader.

Notes

• The self-damage dealt by Blazing Beak is fire damage and can be negated by Pyromaniac and Hot Bombs.

Interactions

• Tainted Mammon: Stacks with Tainted Mammon's inherent chance to drop Cursed Trinkets, effectively acting as a 1.5× drop rate multiplier.
