Runes are a consumable variant that can have their effects mimicked by Clear Rune.

Wunjo			"Joy"	Spawns 3 Joy pills.
Thurisaz			"Giant"	Attempts to upgrade enemies in the room into their stronger form. Enemies upgraded this way have their health halved.
Mannaz			"Kinship"	Grants the damage-sharing effect of Kapala for the current room.
Naudiz			"Need"	For the next 10 seconds, Spoils Coins spawn in random locations of the room every 13 frames. Each of the coins has a 33% chance to spawn in its Cursed variant.
Soul of Mammon			"Hog in the machine"	Summons Mammon as a player character. Shortly after being summoned, Mammon will sacrifice himself by using Meat Grinder three times.

Notes

• When the Mammon summoned by Soul of Mammon dies, it will spawn a Ham. This will count as the current run's singular allowed Ham spawn, and will not occur if Ham has already been granted.

Trivia

• Soul of Mammon's appearance is a reference to "Vessel in the Shape of a Wild Boar", an Etruscan ceramic boar currently held by The Cleveland Museum of Art.
• Soul of Mammon's pickup quote is a reference to the English-language idiom "cog in the machine".
