Ham is a passive item added in The Mammon Update.

Effects

• +1 Red Heart container.
• +2 Black Hearts.
• +0.75 damage.
• +3.5 range.

Notes

• Ham can appear from a couple of other situations outside of its item pools:
  • Blowing up Swine Beggars has a 1% chance to spawn Ham.
  • Ham can be dropped by Mammon on death, so long as there is a 2nd player able to collect it or Mammon has additional lives and will revive.
    • This includes the Mammon spawned by Soul of Mammon.
    • Ham spawned this way can only appear once per run.

Trivia

• Ham, and the fact that Mammon drops it on death, is a reference to a scrapped mechanic from an early beta version Don't Starve Together, where players would drop a food item known as "Long Pig" on death.
