Gloriosa is a passive item added in V3.2.
Effects
- 0.75× tear rate multiplier.
- Tears travel in an arc and leave behind a fire jet when colliding.
- Tears inflict burn to enemies on direct hits.
Notes
- Gloriosa's blazing tears is one of the tear effects able to be mimicked by
Pride Pin. - The fire jets created by tears can harm Isaac, unless he has fire immunity from
Pyromaniac or 
Hot Bombs.
Interactions
The Forgotten / 
Berserk!: Clubbed enemies are inflicted with burn and emit a wave of fire jets in the direction they're clubbed.
Mom's Knife / The Forgotten: Thrown knives and clubs inflict enemies with burn.
Aquarius: Isaac's trail of tears inflicts enemies with burn and summons fire jets underneath enemies that stand on it.
Pullroots: Significantly increases the chance of generating 
Burning Pullroots and 
Fearing Pullroots.
Trivia
- Gloriosa is a genus of flowering plants also known (among other names) as Flame Lilies, Fire Lilies, and Glory Lilies.
- The common names Flame Lily and Fire Lily lend themselves to the effect of the item.
- The sprite of Gloriosa is specifically based on Gloriosa superba.
- Gloriosa was previously a scrapped item that was originally developed alongside
Persephone as a part of The Gacha Update.
- Gloriosa would have been an item exclusive to Persephone that only boosted the chances of Burning Pullroots spawning.
