Traits
Starting Items
- Persephone does not have any starting items, but does have the innate item effects of 2 copies of
Bag of Seeds. These item effects can not be removed.

Pullroot Saplings to appear randomly around the room.
- Having multiple copies of Bag of Seeds increases the rate at which Pullroot Saplings are generated, and increases the minimum amount of Pullroots and Saplings that Persephone should have access to at any given moment.
- Bag of Seeds causes
Curse of the Seed
Persephone has a permanent status known as the Curse of the Seed, which has 2 effects:
- Persephone's damage stat is significantly lower than other characters, and grows more slowly with items.
- Persephone deals more damage with Pullroots (×10 damage instead of ×2.5 damage)
Birthright
"Ricoroots"
- Pullroots can now ricochet between enemies, and will always ricochet at least one.
- Pullroots are thrown with more speed.
- When rebounding off of enemies or walls, pullroots bounce back further towards Persephone, meaning they can be thrown again sooner.
